taichiskiing 寫:Your battery will only last for two hours, and less if the temperatures are cold; for 5 days of filming, you definitely need a charger. Gopro battery is charged with a USB terminal on a PC/Imac/laptop(?), there are also "wall-outlet" chargers, as well as car cigarette lighter chargers; you probably don't have time to order them; check out REI, they may carry some. And if you don't download the clips you shot, you may still run out of memory too. But anyway, have fun.
So, what's your plan to come to Tahoe?

Ps. What forecast said "maybe a few snow flakes" turned to be a few inches freshy snow, way cool, did some trail powder skiing, skied some bumps today, and the moguls on Little Dipper are getting bigger. A fun day.
I will bring a laptop to do both every evening: 1. charge the GoPro battery, and retrieve video clips from GoPro. One thing that I am not sure is about the idle mode. If I don't shoot when I am on a lift chair, should I turn the GoPro off?
The following is our final plan:
02/06 (Monday) – Heavenly
02/07 (Wednesday) – Squaw
02/08 (Tuesday) – Kirkwood
02/09 (Thursday) – Northstar
02/10 (Friday) – Heavenly
I will give you a call when we arrive there Sunday evening/afternoon. If that weather report comes true, it will be wonderful!!! About bumps, I enjoy blue trail bumps ... not too big and not too small (but they got to be soft and not icy). I cannot handle well black trail big bumps yet.
