snowrider 寫:pku - is the skier 90 (in all white) the best one in the competition?
I am not sure but it is very obvious he is the best among the three. He is the Canadian demo team member. The first one is a CSIA L4 Examiner and the 3rd guy a CSIA L3 Examiner.
It's pretty obvious the Japanese Demonstrator are stronger skiers since they all trained for this kind of competition all the time. CSIA demonstrators are just teachers, not competitors.
The run is pretty steep ( around 30 degree) and usually the bumps are quite big. I can't take the same line they skied. I need to ski around the bumps to control the speed. Yesterday, the broken powder there was very catchy so I escaped.

Thanks pku. Talking about the demo team, in our PSIA, National Demo Team has the strongest skiiers than the division's demo team has. So if we rank their capability and ski skills, it will be:
1. National Demo Team (e.g., Mike Rogan)
2. PSIA-E Demo Team
3. Examiners
4. DCL (i.e., Division Clinic Leader)
5. L3
6. L2
7. L1
