這可能是 pmts 的 tipping 的表徵

extension 這一字在 pmts 來說是有點深奧, 我到現在也不是太明白, 但可以引用 Harald 的說法(我的說法則是 passive extension):

我只是中級的 pmts skier, 對其他 pmts 技術沒多大把握, 而且片中又夾雜了 trampoline turn 這是和 pmts 對著幹的技術, 所以我只敢談談 tipping 以免引致不必要的誤解. 你是真的要了解 pmts 的其他技術請到 pmts forum 問一下那邊的高手, 記得說是我 carver_hk 介紹過來的.
超短彎 means 比一般的短彎還要短的彎, 上身差不多是直線下山.

I think if your skis have grip and are carving. The skis will follow the track to pull your legs long. They don't want skier push to extend because 1. it will flatten your skis and lose tipping angle and 2. you will lost flexibility and lose tipping angle. They want to side load the skis and push does not help. These are mentioned in the book somewhere.

我覺得就是非 carving 彎也是這樣, 關鍵在於 highC 時是走 sidecut 的還是走 pivoting 的.

They don't want skier push to extend because 1. it will flatten your skis and lose tipping angle and 2. you will lost flexibility and lose tipping angle. They want to side load the skis and push does not help. These are mentioned in the book somewhere.

Referring to your previous post, you said - 我還欠什麼才能成超短彎. I was thinking this is a question for our discussion but seems I made a mistake. Actually, the last 3 questions were provided for your self-reviewing (because I don't have enough knowledge and ability to share with you). Otherwise, I should combine my previous 2 posts (i.e. the 4 questions), right?

For me, extension of outside leg is required after transition due to flex to release. The difference is

It is so kind of you to provide question for my self review. However, pls note that I didn't ignore your question. I just don't have the ability to answer your insightful question. As I confessed earlier I don't have sufficient knowledge to judge on the more advanced PMTS issues. Betting on blurred image of how it works do no good to myself and readers. And when I started learning trampoline turns I know I can not ask more question from the pmts forum as I wont be welcome anymore. Now my pmts skiing and knowledge is already blended with trampoline turns and I dont sure what is right and what is wrong. After all getting through the transition without falling is right for me. Obviously Harald changed his mind when he gets more mature he now realize lengthening to get longer is better then just extending, which have a somewhat limited sense of length. Thanks for the highlight, lets hope we can all do lengthening better.

It is not pivot, at least not the usual sense. I think it is not riding the side cut either. The turning or changing of ski direction is from tipping.

BTW, it is difficult for me to continue tipping during the turn.

I don't have an answer for this. I don't extend for anther reason. I like to think about skiing as flowing like water as Taichiskiing is talking about. Things like "let the pressure come to you" start making sense.
