pku 寫:Its CSIA, Canadian Ski Instructor Alliance. So your understand is really not much about our system. I also don't understand the PMTS but at least I do copy and paste so I don't spell it wrong.

He is skiing with good mobile althetic stance, sterring with lower body and bouncing from edge to edge. Good skiing

I think all systems are to make people become good skier. Also evey 4 years, there is a inter ski conference for instructor of amost all ski countries to share their experience. CSIA is representing Canada. I also don't know PMTS or the PSIA is representing USA or both.
I never say I understand CSIA fully but I understand the skills you are talking about enough to have a honest exchange with you. You can't prove it otherwise. I also never criticize any videos you put out.

Most of the visitors to this site appear to be instructors and have association with a teaching system. I am not an instructor and not associate with any systems. I am not pushing anything but I do want to be help clarify information.

You can check your whistler ski school to see what they will do if you attend a PMTS camp or even get a instructor certificate. My guess is the response will be negative. I don't have this kind of problem. I can choose what I prefer however I like.

I quit Whistler School School for few years. Before they don't really care what is your skiing background. As long as you got some kind of certificate, they may hire you. They need more than 1000 instructor every year. They got the most level 4 CSIA instructor in Canada. The training there is very good. To become a CSIA instructor is very easy, take a course for 4 days and a high intermediate skier should pass. The good thing to be an instructor is to enter the ski school and get trained for free.

There is nothing wrong with PMTS for me, just the term they use is not too easy to understand.

As long as you ski fast, in control and with a nice form, i think is good skiing. I don't really care which system you're trained. Don't get me wrong.
