taichiskiing 寫:If you don't want others to say what you do is that you don't do it yourself, and when you operate on a smaller knowledge domain (e.g. skills for "mogul" skiing vs skills for "all-mountain" skiing) is what qualifies you "little knowledge." You are not a "little knowledge," no need to pretend to be one. And no, what kind of "meaningful" discussions that you Whistler group has provided here in past three years? Dog ate your papers? (Another prediction, you can't!)
The answer was given, "barely," as PKU may spend long enough time on those runs, nevertheless, they missed "physical" criterion, a mid-mountain loading is not the "bottom." You didn't say "so-so," but you forgot to read what PKU was saying.
The way PKU was saying, he did imply his runs were "performance skiing," if not "high performance skiing"; reread my posts around and about where the posts questioning his "performance skiing."
Given PKU's wiggling answers, I knew that he may not have one, so I double checked his "credibility." You Whistler group couldn't provide credible answers, even the clips on "on green groom runs" may provide a "valid" answer, (as it is not as easy as it sounded, as green run TTBs are usually the longest run on the mountain,) but you group has failed, so the conclusion was correct, you Whistler group was lying to "gold plate your own face."
TTB: "Top To Bottom" is "Top To Bottom"; and I don't really consider the following run a "true" TTB,
No, it is you Whistler group couldn't provide the "conclusion," so you argue to “佔口頭上的便宜,”ok, you can have it. You couldn't know me if you cannot see into my skiing.

I said I like to watch performance skiing. I didn't say my skiing is performance skiing.
I got some performance on groom slope but only a little bit on bumps. Also CSIA call it bumps skiing, different from moguls skiing.
I show my video on bumps skiing down without a stop on bumps. That means I can ski the grroom in one shoot without a stop is easy. I ski more than a 1000meter vertical on Whistler in one shoot without a stop always, not on cat track trails as the place you film your video.
Your skiing is old man skiing down a hill using very low end technical. No rhythm, skidding a lot, lot of tranverse on steep. It's good for a old man take skiing as exercise, not good skiing.

Yup, that's what I've called "好高騖遠," like skier888's "Top To Bottom" thread's video clip, you gappers can't never do it, nor it is practical; it may be a nice "movie" to watch but not much for "Alpine" skiing techniques.

What I have figured, that/bump skiing may be the best skiing you can do, but neither tree skiing, nor powder skiing; that is, you have a "smaller" set of skiing knowledge and techniques.

For 20+ years of skiing experience, You SHOULD be able to ski 1000 meters in one shot, but "should" generally is not considered as "credibility," and I'm surprised that you Whistler group cannot produce a single video clip to prove that you are doing TTB. Given that you only have a small set of techniques, mainly bump skiing, your skiing, 說的好聽“很傳統”,說的不好聽“很落後”‧And my skiing is low end only because your skiing knowledge not up to par, and cannot read the videos. Let's see how you "young men's high end" techniques can do on a more complicated terrain,
Can't match up? "You Whistler group was lying to "gold plate your own face."

You don't really know much what your own saying, do you? If you don't feel/think your skiing is good, like normon's “沒水準的標準,”what right do you have to judge how others skiing?
The giveaway is he is not "好高騖遠" so he skis without improvement year after year His specialty is traverse to bleed out energy to not get performance out of the skis. Look at the outfit, the one that calls others gapper actually looks most like a gapper himself
He is really envious of you doing well, that is why he keep on mentioning "silver spoon"

Powder skiing in trees? 對,“兒皇帝的春夢‧” No, that is a Vail Corporation's morning commercial, good filming editing maybe, but "real" skiing techniques are more than just "short hops for a short video clip" (i.e. they were staged),
Did say that you Whistler group only know how to cheat yourself to cheat others to "gold-plate" your own faces, didn't I? Maybe you don't know what "韻律" is?
Another“弱慢”operates on inferior skiing environments and pretends to be a great skier? No, I don't believe that you Whistler has no powder skiing; you are only ducking the challenge that you cannot match to fake yourself. 不是跟弱慢一樣,你只是在“自欺欺人,騙自己”,“笨的爆”?

~~~ 20130321 - The Best Powder Day Ever in Two Years ~~~
Skied Vail on Monday (very good condition because Sunday and Monday were snow days).
Skied Beaver Creek on Tuesday (OK condition).
Skied Vail again on Wednesday (good condition also because yesterday it started snowing again).
Skied Keystone on Thursday (super good condition). According to people there, it was the best powder day ever in two years there!
Skied Breckenridge on Friday with good snow also.
I started a long journey driving up to the airport this morning. That was my second or third time driving in big snowstorms. The visibility was very low, and the Chain Low was enforced (but I still left the snow chains in the trunk). Finally ... after 3-ish hours of tough driving, I arrived the rental car place and returned the car.
Now I am sitting in Denver Airport waiting ... tons of flights have been canceled. Lucky me that my flight was delay only 1 hour. I told the airline lady that the delay would cause me missing out my transfer flight. She rescheduled me to another later flight - a direct flight without transferring (and also with $10 refund). Just FIY that one *foot* (i.e., 12") of snow is being falling since last night.
Good! Yesterday was my last ski day of this season. It made the total # of ski days 35.
Lucky you.
Most of us only ski less than 20 days, except me. I skied 32 days on Whistler, 4 days in Japan and 2 days on Big White. Just our season ended oon mid May.
You should try the spring skiing on Whistler. Top part is good till late April. Then, it'll be half day skiing. The time snow start to melt slightly and before getting heavy slush. 2-3 hours skiing.
