pku - Wow! You've skied almost 40 days this season! I wished that I could ski as much as you did. We (me and some friends) bought the Mountain Collective pass for next winter. It includes 2 days of Whistler tickets. Hopefully our group can come up a travel plan to visit Whistler next year.
pku 寫:Lucky you.
Most of us only ski less than 20 days, except me. I skied 32 days on Whistler, 4 days in Japan and 2 days on Big White. Just our season ended oon mid May.
You should try the spring skiing on Whistler. Top part is good till late April. Then, it'll be half day skiing. The time snow start to melt slightly and before getting heavy slush. 2-3 hours skiing.

"Turn-skiing" on a groomed run? (Not so impressive for those with even higher techniques.) This run is more technical, difficult, and smoother, much better,
I thought you were saying that you Whistler has no powder skiing? (You were lying to cover what you're unable to do!) I can see that now, they are "way over your league." They may be good, but "true powder skiing is more than just short hops for short video clips," free flow and long glide are more tecnical and give more pleasure for powder skiing.

I mean Whistler doesn't got much high quality light powder like Lake Tahoe. Whistler is very close to the sea and it's not high, Peak is only about 7500 feet above sea level so powder is quite wet and heavy most of the time especially down the tree lines. Snow is better above the tree line. but still not as good like the inland BC.
I know it's hard for a stubborn old man to understand
See how far you can film a ski video from front view.

Sadly, that kind of snow is all we have this year. Often it will dry out overnight. It is quite nice when that happen.

So you've never heard of "Sierra Cement," one of toughest skiing conditions?
skier888 寫:What are you doing at the end of your long traverse? You turn! You just don't do it very well. You stem when the terrain gets a little tougher.
You just take park and ride to another level. You can mask that very well. I will give you that.
Sorry for you, your envious jealous heart just doesn't shed the light for you, can't see, can't read, and can't grow, so you remain a "terminal intermediate."

No, that means you are living in a perpetuated lying life; no "real world" people would ever envy the life of Human Computer Viruses, they are just too pathetic.
Since you got the good video equipment. You should show a video of guns barrel from the front. See how you can ski this bumps run with rhythm

No, not so fast, 1) none of our old timers would do the gunbarrel for nothing, you would have to "pay" to see it, 2) since you may not know what "rhythm" is, and you may slip into your perpetuated denial state in the end, why should I bother?

Watching his technique, the only conclusion one can draw is that he simply can't ski in a narrow corridor when it is a steeper He would have shown it already if he has one.
