我最近 13 次滑雪旅遊的總結, 由貴至平 (每滑雪日計) 頭 5名都是日本, nz 反而是最尾.
當然是以我的可平則平的用錢法計算.

紐西蘭只是機票貴而已，但跟歐洲大雪場比起來，雪場大小就輸到不行了。

大師應該去 st. moritz 走走, 那邊的雪道最合適大師練功, 日本這些小場恐怕阻礙了大師練大法.

The scenery is also unforgettable if you have a walk around the lake in the morning. Don't forget to bring some nuts for serving the small animals

Come on man. Organizing a ski trip is easy. We all read, write, and speak english well. I don't think that we need a travel agent to do that for us. I've been organizing ski trips for years. I don't think that he is anything more professional than us.

我很是討厭 niseko 大部份的什麼都看不見的天氣, 當然天氣好的時候是 heaven, 但我的 luck 沒那麼好. 相對 swf 日元也太強了.

I have another problem, i was destined to work as a personal ski patrol without paid. I have no choice. I just have to travel with my group alone, but i can ski with you guys for some run together.

Snow is almost gurranteed in Feb and March, April is good spring skiing, and skiing and lodging are cheap comparing to other resorts. Nevertheless, Tahoe area is very busy during Xmas~New Year's day holidays and "president week" in Feb, need to book lodging early. Let me know if you guys need more info.

Taichiskiing - thanks for your taichi enlightment (I forgot which thread that I read about your taichi one single key word).

I might move to Tahoe area after I retire in the future. I love that area very much. The only thing I don't like is that it's hard to find a good restaurant in the south lake area. (Next time I'll try out the north lake area.)

As a budget skier, could you give me an idea of the price of accommodation and lift pass in the non-peak season? Is it possible to go the ski resort by public transportation from one of domestic airports?

I might move to Tahoe area after I retire in the future...

Where do you usually ski? The cost really depends on how many people, length of stay and when.

It is possible if you stay at a Casino Hotel or ski Heavenly.

Let me answer this for skier666...

Skier666 is a Tahoe local. He skies more than 100 ski days last season.

About Japan, I have one word for that. It sucks!

Why I say so? I spent big money to fly from the States to ski Hakuba Happo-one. After one day of skiing, my wife and I decided not to waste our precious vacation on that second-class ski resort. We then went to visit other attractions (a castle and back to Tokyo).

About skiing Tahoe, I have organized a ski trip there couple years ago. The total cost for 6 nights of lodging and 5 days of skiing was like $500. We stayed at a 4-start casino hotel. No onsen but good spa and jacuzzi hot tub. We went to Heavenly, Squaw Valley, and Kirkwood. Any one of them can easily beat any ski resort in Japan.

I've read of that, thanks; I think it's Taichi's 黏字訣 and it's“不及不離”flows like water phenomenon thingy, but I cannot find it either. One interesting thing about the water flows though, gravity cannot be "seen," but water flows betray its existence, strength, and directions.

Good deal. Tahoe area is kind of expensive to move in right now, as Tahoe area was designated as "national monument," "national treasure," or something like that, by President Clinton in the 90s, there was a lot of new restrictions to limit the developments of this area, but it's kind of nice if you are already lived here or have money to move in. A cheaper alternative is to move to Carson City, Minden, Gardnerville, or Carson valley, Nevada some where, 30 minutes from Heavenly, but houses are much bigger and cheaper. There are "no" good restaurants in Tahoe region (the best is only so-so), but restaurants are fancy and cheap (at least they used to be) in casinos. It is really nice living here in Tahoe if you can make it. Good luck.
