Also I knew that the discussion would have some disagreement between personal opinions. I would like to take it (my argument) back if I could. Anyway, here are only how "I" think:
1. Pole planting or pole swinging not natural - while it's not required to have pole planting or swinging in that kind of run, he tries to do that with no natural rhythm.
2. Ankle not bending forward enough
3. Two skis out of sync - can seen from 9 to 14 second
4. Not dynamic enough - up/down not quite correct

About the 2011 Spring Skiing video, that was on a steep diamond slope. When we are in some tougher environment, any of our problems will be magnified. It is easier to see our problems on black trails than that of blue trails. See the skier's elbows open up a lot, which prevent the skier from making efficiently quick pole swing. Balance - The skier is in good balance overall, while sometimes heaps sink a bit too much (see 0:21) probably because of the steep terrain. Rotation - The skier shows some whole-body rotation without much counter (see 0:07). Pressue Control - The skier's flex/extend mainly comes from heap socket instead of ankles (see 0:21), while ankles are favorable. Edging Movement - The skier sometimes (see: 0:32) does not move two skis simultaneously (probably because of the steep terrain), which causes the corresponding edges do not engage at the same time. This problem occurs sometimes when the skier is making right turns, while left turns are good. However, overall the skier has demonstrated a good parallel skiing (most of the time) on a steep slope. Direction Movement - If the skier can commit more of the body movement to the skiing direction (i.e., downhill), it would be nice! Practice suggestion - to practice cross-under short radius turn on blue trails, and to practice javelin turn on black trails.
Hi beg - Yes, I did see the skier used knees and heaps. I should have said that the skier did not utilize ankles much for flexion and extension. That is one of the differences between L2 skiing and L1 skiing. Since heap joints and knee joints are much bigger than ankles, most people use big muscles and big joints to ski and turn. The subtle piece and the harder one is to utilize ankles - to open and close ankles to perfect the stance to the state where upper body is always in parallel movement with tibia.beg 寫:Wow Snowrider you have good eyes and you demonstrate what is how to be a good instructor.
Your assesment is detail and accurate.
Your feedback is positive.
You provide drills for improvement.
You see quite a lot in a short video. About my elbows, PKU keep reminds me but a bad habbit is not easy to erase.
Just one point of the ext/flex mainly from heap socket I might not 100% agree. The knee joints have some visible movements there too. What do you think?

雖然那說的容易,但做沒那麼容易,做對練完成了,就是L3的程度技術了。
不過我是懷疑有沒有看懂我的意思,看不懂不會練也沒用吧?

動態平衡做的好,談何容易norman 寫:懂得方法練,自然就容易很多,不懂的方法做,當然很難囉。
我說的那向下伸縮的滑線,是那段2011年影片動作所需要的動態平衡是接近2倍,過程的平衡變化速度也是接近兩倍,只要能在轉動同時保持高穩定的動態平衡,整個轉彎無法保持穩定點杖及轉彎節奏感也轉不下去,太用力轉沒伸縮就會變成pivot了,那也沒意義囉。
不過也不代表難練,我已說了,除了有方法訣竅練外,其他就是多努力自己試練囉,沒方法訣竅就是靠自己土法練鋼把路線滑線努力多練久一點也是可以練得出來的,只是練的時間比較長一點而已。
只有你自己才信你的心法,所以才醜態百出norman 寫:早說了,最好別信,別照我這方向去練。![]()

就算小叮噹可滑到似模似樣,仍與練成差別很大

而我還沒到大雪場拍動作,也不足以證明我能不能跟在室內滑雪場一樣的動作及能產生什樣的動作效果?
