Tips From Stein On How To Become A Better Skier

Ski Tip #1 - GET USED TO THE HIGH ALTITUDE

"Everybody who comes from sea level to 7,000 feet and up will always have an adjustment period that they should pay attention to. Don't overdo it the first day you come to ski. Ski a few hours. Rest a little bit. Try to get a good night's sleep. Then you can excel as the days go by."

Ski Tip #2 - KEEP THE SKIS CLOSER TOGETHER
IN POWDER

"I personally feel that skiing powder I have more control if the skis are together than if the skis are too far apart. Because two narrow surfaces (your skis) if they are apart, have a tendency to go deeper into the snow than one surface if you keep the skis together. Then your skis have a better tendency to stay on top of the snow."

Ski Tip #3 - MAKE SURE TO GET GOOD FITTING BOOTS

"Make sure that the boot fits good and that you are comfortable. Get a tight fit, tight enough that you feel there is a direct connection between the foot, the inner sole, the boot itself and the ski. Because that's where the action is - in the ankle, in the feet, onto the snow, through the ski."

Ski Tip #4 - BECOME A MORE VERSATILE SKIER

"Don't ski the same runs everyday. Try something new. Every run has a challenge whether or a steep run or a narrow run. My best advice to you to become a versatile skier is to ski all the runs that are available, all the different snow conditions that you can find. That makes you a better skier."

停在其它滑雪者下方。這個要看情況啦！

戴太陽眼鏡，並穿的耀眼。這很基本。

5. Don't Keep Skis Too Far Apart

兩腳雪板不要分的太開。可能他那邊鬆雪比較多。

6. Drop Your Downhill Shoulder

這一句不懂。

7. Do Not Bend From The Waist

不要從腰部做 angulation。

8. Be Aware When You Stop On The Side Of The Hill

注意你停在山坡的兩旁。

9. People Below You Have The Right Of Way

下方的人有雪道的優先權。

10. Ski At Moderate Speeds In Crowded Conditions

人太多時，要以合適速度滑雪。
