#1 Movement Analysis
Let's discuss what a *good skiing* is. According to PSIA's textbook, the 4 important elements of analyzing a skier's movement are:
Balance
Edging Control
Rotary Movement
Pressure Control
Later on PSIA added "Directional Movement" as the 5th element of skiing.
Why I say that PKU is the obvious winner? Because he demonstrates his abilities of blending those 5 skills in his skiing. On the other hand, TCS shows only good balance with some rotary movement - and probably he is very good at utilizing taichi on skiing, but it's really not a standard skill.

"PSIA' textbook," eh? That's too elementary; you sounded "like primary schools teachers, after teaching so many years to the lower level students, they actually think that they are some kind of authority/expert on the whole knowledge."snowrider 寫:Let's discuss what a *good skiing* is. Without a dynamic balance, you cannot ski double diamond blacks, and Flatboarding has demonstrated that "eding control" is only a secondary function, and the "flat board"/the base has better "pressure control" than carving. So, Taichi Skiing may not be "standard," but it is more advanced skiing/techniques. You have just disqualified yourself as a "fair" person.

Get stuck on your「小人長戚戚」metality, eh? Yup, if they can ski the steep without poles, they'll ski like me.

If there is 6 feet of powder tomoorow on Whistler , I can ski like Norman Kretuz.
But, it won't be more than 5 inches snow tonight

when you ski on steep, you are skiing line, the line that is perpendicular to the fall line. you still turn, but you are making stemmed turn, which is a low level skill in turn skiing. You ski 150 days a year but still using the low level "turn skiing" survival skill. I bet if norman can ski this many days, he will ski better than you.taichiskiing 寫:"PSIA' textbook," eh? Norman's goal is much higher. The level of skiing of his idot is very high ( Top skier of the demonstration skiing )skier888 寫:when you ski on steep, you are skiing line, the line that is perpendicular to the fall line. you still turn, but you are making stemmed turn, which is a low level skill in turn skiing. If he can ski like 60 days a year for 10 years, he should be a much much better skier than Taichi ski.

Given that you cannot do what I do, so you are lower than low level skier? Yup, guess that's how a lower than low level skier stuck,「小人下達」。skier888 寫:when you ski on steep, you are skiing line, the line that is perpendicular to the fall line. you still turn, but you are making stemmed turn, which is a low level skill in turn skiing. Yup, we see how a little knowledge brag; no, 6 feet of powder is not going to happen, so you don't have to do it.pku 寫:IF
