Just came back after a long weekend

Well...my perception is that epicski advocates ILE but I am confused after studying BB's explanation, especially in the post #23.

In that post, I found that all the great skiers perform OLR. So, I am thinking whether I misinterpret their techniques.

I did not read the thread originally but I read some of it this morning. BB is a wise man.

Thanks for your info. Rick also provides an in-depth discussion about ILE and OLR in his DVD. We may have further discussion if you watched the DVD already.

Yeah, it is a long long thread. But very informative on the subject of "Where do we want our hips over our feet? Why do we want to move our hips forward? "

#128 of page 5 is a good and simple presentation. BB summarizes by saying," ...... Depending on the posture of the skier, the hips may never appear directly above, much less forward of, the feet!

Lelo, if you can understand just this post #128, it should shed some light for better understanding of "sitting back" or "hip forward"
