snowrider 寫:taichiskiing - Thank you so much for taking us skiing so many fun tree runs at Heavenly! The video seems to be shaking a bit. I am wondering if it is normal or I need to adjust my GoPro's mounting pad? Another thing is about the space between trees, the actual space seemed to be smaller and narrower than what we see from the video. (I remember that we have been busy on making quick turns when we were in tree runs.) Would it be the wide-angle lense on GoPro make the tree runs look easier?
Thanks for following me into the trees, too, they were fun, weren't they? The shaking is normal for the rough terrain, and the filming angle looks good too; it was good shooting, and you don't need to adjust your mounting pad. The space between trees looks wider is because the bumps and moguls between the trees, which make the actual runs much narrower and bumpier, don't show in the video. And Yes, the wide angle Gopro also shows the space wider; it also shows the speed slower on [my] computer than it plays with YouTube (guess that is a problem of memory buffering by displaying programs). Some of our videos got ruined by wet lens, but I'll post some interesting runs later when I get my acts together.
'later, :)
