Why does an established instructor want to compare his skiing with a "beginner"? I was messing with you for this reason. Plus you gladly accepted TCS feedback. beg, no offense to you when I call you "beginner". I am just borrowing your term. You ski quite well in your latest clip, better than norm as agreed by everybody else.

I call myself beginner because I am really a beginner if I ski with high level skiers. Whistler is way less good then Japan and Europe for me. If I have time I ll go Europe otherwise Japan or Korea. So I m not avoiding you it just a habit. And by the way, I never meant to beat you. I only play with 大師, yet I m seeing many people just get too serious.

For the skiing part, Japan and Korea is way less fun than Whistler ( except the dry powder in Japan.) Western Canada also got some good snow as we drive 4 hours to the East.

Europe is big mountain experience and should be better than Whistler.

Your skiing is impossible to beat me, may be in the next few year I got some health problem, or you can get trained or ski full time ( like freeskier in Niseko) for few years, than it's hard to say.

I am going to Japan on Feb, originally want to join Ryan's tour but the tour is full.

That is exactly my point about silliness (not that I am judging he is better or worst). Wouldn't it be funny if people come out and say your skiing is better (not that I think you are worse) ?

Even on regular blue groomed runs, he can't do better than Beg. One needs to ski a lot to be able to beat Beg's basic technique. Norman can't do it in 6 days.

Interesting thing is that you don't "think" yourself as a beginner, which only makes you a fake; a fake humility is what we Chinese called “鄉愿”. Of course, PKU skis better than you, and I think, normally he would just acknowledge that Richie Berger skis better without faking himself to think that he is a beginner.
